The micro:bit is a single board microcontroller designed by the BBC. It comes with several sensors and LEDs built in so it can do a ton of stuff right out of the box. It also comes with several pins so that you can add additional displays and sensors.
The micro:bit can be programmed with Scratch 3.0, MakeCode, or MicroPython. It’s a terrific kit for kids to try out programming and basic robotics.
